Watch three generations of Koenigsegg history come together.
Despite being a relatively recent name among the world’s hypercars, Koenigsegg has become synonymous with the highest echelon of innovation, performance, and engineering prowess. The Swedish manufacturer is responsible for some of the world’s most powerful, fastest, most exclusive, and most desirable cars ever made, as well as pioneering various performance technologies.
However, it was in 2007, 16 years ago, when Koenigsegg took its first shot at racing with the CCGT, an attempt that was cut short unfortunately by the discontinuation of the GT1 racing category. However, the introduction of historic GT racing gives the lost CCGT race car a chance at redemption and a shot at competing against its contemporary rivals.
To celebrate this revival of the Koenigsegg CCGT, the brand brought together 3 generations of its incredible performance history, starting with the racing hypercar, continuing to the ultra-futuristic and incredibly powerful Jesko, and ending with the latest hypercar from Koenigsegg and an homage to its origins: the CC850. The new creation is equally revolutionary and historic, with a unique transmission that allows for both manual and automatic operation, as well as a design that echoes the original Koenigsegg CC8S. With 3 generations of Koenigsegg’s performance excellence proudly displayed together, this new video is eye candy for any automotive enthusiast.
