When your company specializes in building 2-door hypercars, the notion of adding back seats car be terrifying to a design team. That’s why Christian and his team partnered with RAW Design House to sculpt their latest masterpiece. So proud of their efforts, these Koenigsegg Gemera prototypes show the evolution of the design.
For a quick refresher, the Gemera was scheduled to be unveiled in Geneva alongside Jesko Absolut. A slap in the face to those who who say gas engines are dead, the “Tiny Friendly Giant is a 2.0L twin turbo without any cams.
Detailed Walkaround of the Koenigsegg Gemera
It uses Koenigsegg’s Freevavle technology to offer 600 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque from 2-7,000 rpm. It can run on regular unleaded, E-85, E-100 (moonshine) or even methanol.
Combined with the world’s most advanced hybrid system, it has one motor for the front wheels and the rear wheels have their own. Total output is 1,700 horsepower and only 2,581 lb-ft of torque. It can travel 590 miles on one takn, without using the EV system, but who could resist such incredible power at your command?
