Lamborghini has had an exceptional first half of 2024, hitting new highs in deliveries, revenues, and operating income. The Sant’Agata Bolognese production facility rolled out 5,558 cars, including the Revuelto, Urus, and Huracán, generating $175 million in revenue, a 14.1% increase from the previous year. This success translated to a record $495 million in operating profit. Lamborghini’s Chairman and CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, linked the brand’s success to strategic investments aimed at strengthening and diversifying its product lineup, guaranteeing a lead position in the supercar market.
Lamborghini’s profitability soared to 28.2%, highlighting the effectiveness of its strategy. Managing Director and CFO Paolo Poma maintains confidence in sustaining this growth, even as the manufacturer transitions to hybrid technology. With a strong order list and a positive market response, especially for the new Urus SE, Lamborghini is well-positioned for future success. The allocation of deliveries remained balanced across EMEA, Americas, and APAC regions, with the United States leading individual markets.
A major milestone will be reached with the unveiling of the Huracán’s successor at Monterey Car Week on August 16. This new HPEV supercar, featuring a twin-turbo V8 engine and hybrid system, marks the completion of Lamborghini’s hybridization.
