Automobili Lamborghini has announced the unveiling of its latest masterpiece, an LMDh racing prototype, at the anticipated Goodwood Festival of Speed 2023. The new racing prodigy is designed to take on the world’s most significant endurance races, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 24 Hours of Daytona, propelling Lamborghini into the pinnacle of the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship’s Hypercar class and the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship Endurance Cup’s GTP class.
The LMDh prototype will debut on July 13th, presented by Lamborghini’s CEO Stephan Winkelmann, Chief Technical Officer Rouven Mohr, Head of Motorsport Giorgio Sanna, and their partner, Iron Lynx.
Celebrating its 60th anniversary, Lamborghini is showcasing its latest marvels at the Festival of Speed 2023. Among the stars hitting the ‘up the hill’ run include the recently revealed Lamborghini Revuelto, an electrifying V12 plug-in hybrid successor to the Aventador, and the adventurous V10 Huracan Sterrato, equipped with a special Rally mode for extreme off-road terrains.
Visitors will also witness the dynamic UK debut of the Huracan Sterrato and the Lamborghini Revuelto, displayed outside the Lamborghini Lounge. Alongside these, Huracan Tecnica, Huracan STO, and Urus Performante will captivate audiences from the Sports Car and First Glance paddocks, charging up the hill throughout the festival.
