While Automobili Lamborghini is historically recognized for engineering and manufacturing some of the most powerful supercars on the planet, the Italian marque uses its expertise in craftmanship to elevate other industries through creative collaborations. Hopping off the racetrack and stepping onto the padel court, Babolat and Lamborghini are teaming up again with their latest creation, the BL002 padel racquet. Following the success of their first collaboration, this new model is designed to be easier to handle while still packing plenty of performance.
Built with a rigid 3K carbon monocoque frame and Koridion foam, the BL002 is just 360 grams light. Used in Lamborghini’s supercars, the new materials help boost energy return and improve overall control. The racquet comes in two sharp colorways inspired by Lamborghini’s designs—green and black—and is limited to 5,000 worldwide.
Unlike the previous BL001 model, which was crafted at Lamborghini’s Sant’Agata Bolognese headquarters, the BL002 was designed at Babolat’s Padel Studio near Barcelona. This time, Lamborghini’s engineers traveled to Spain to share their expertise on materials and design. With its sleek look and smart engineering, the BL002 offers fun for both padel newcomers and experienced players looking for something special.
