In celebration of Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary, the Italian automaker has revealed a one-off spectacle, the ‘Opera Unica’ Huracán Sterrato, celebrating their vibrant heritage of colors. Unveiled in Porto Cervo, Italy, this one-of-a-kind supercar draws inspiration from the deep blues of Sardinia’s seas and skies, and is one of the first bespoke iterations of Lamborghini’s new radically off-road capable supercar.
The Ad Personam department at Lamborghini, renowned for creating customized vehicular masterpieces, has outdone itself with this one-off piece of art. A unique crystal-effect paint process has been used, creating a blend that mirrors the richness and tranquility of Sardinia’s marine-blue landscapes.
The Huracán Sterrato Opera Unica represents a perfect fusion of artistic prowess and performance. This audacious super sports car is built to tackle both the smooth paved roads and the rough terrains of the Costa Smeralda. What sets this special edition apart is its hand-painted exterior, created with an intricate three-color process, resulting in a crystal effect reminiscent of frozen liquid.
Underneath its captivating exterior, the Opera Unica Huracán Sterrato bears the robust character of its uniquely off-road capable model. According to Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, “The Huracán Sterrato was born from challenging the expected, delivering a super sports car that goes beyond convention.”
The Opera Unica also exhibits a well-coordinated interior, carrying the thematic blue inside. The car features exposed carbon fiber and upholstery in Blu Delphinus leather and specially dyed Alcantara, while the steering wheel combines both materials. Complementary panels, piping, and embroidery sport the lighter shade of Celeste Phoebe leather echoing the exterior blue and a maritime lifestyle ambiance.
In a grand reveal, the Huracán Sterrato Opera Unica made its entrance at the Lamborghini VIP client dinner in the Cala di Volpe hotel. After the spectacular unveiling, this masterpiece will be showcased at the Lamborghini Lounge in Porto Cervo, with the lounge open for visits until September 10.
