Another reason why you should own a Huracán Sterrato.
While supercars and hypercars have long since controlled the upper echelon of the automotive world, with lightweight, low-profile bodies and massive power being sent to the rear wheels, they’ve proven themselves to be wild fun until being faced with rugged terrain and less-than-optimal conditions. Having already answered the wishes of those who want to daily drive a Lamborghini through all four seasons with the Urus, the Italian marque took things a step further by launching the Huracán Sterrato as its first-ever off-road capable supercar.
The way that the Sterrato balances its DNA between tarmac and soil is what makes it the ultimate competitor, just like professional Dutch cyclist Mathieu van der Poel, who also holds a soft spot for Lamborghinis. Finding out where the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato fits into his very active, adventurous, and mostly off-road lifestyle, Mathieu recently took one out for a gravel ride alongside his friends at Canyon.

In the Reel uploaded to Instagram, the video showcases the car’s practicality as Mathieu pulls up after a ride, mounts his bike to the roof, removes his gear, packs his front wheel, and launches off the dirt, demonstrating Lamborghini’s sophisticated all-wheel-drive system. Easier to connect the Champion-winning cyclists to their passion for the brand, especially with a Urus in their collection, it’s even more interesting to connect van der Poel’s riding styles to the Hurácan Sterrato and its multi-purpose DNA. The machine that drives him to victory is Canyon’s latest Grail CFR gravel bike, engineered to perform on a 200-mile road race or an uncharted trail ride. It’s his versatility and success on all terrains that make Mathieu van der Poel a top contender on all surfaces, and it’s also what makes the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato the perfect supercar for everything.
With what already looks to be an impressive collection of Italian supercars, we can’t wait to see what Mathieu van der Poel chooses as the next garage addition.
