Automobili Lamborghini marked its third consecutive year supporting Movember, a global campaign focused on men’s health, with impressive participation involving over 1,600 Lamborghinis coordinated by 100 dealers worldwide. Movember, established in London in 2003, plays a pivotal role in raising awareness and funds for men’s health issues, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. Throughout November, Lamborghini dealers and customers participated in “Bull Run” rallies, where cars were displayed with mustaches on their hoods. This initiative saw the largest gathering in Newport Beach, USA, with 80 cars, followed closely by Beverly Hills with 60 participating vehicles.
Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, emphasized the company’s commitment to Movember, expressing pride in global participation and the importance of raising awareness for these crucial health issues. He hopes Lamborghini’s support will inspire more companies to contribute to this significant cause. The month-long campaign also featured a variety of initiatives, including an official Movember website fundraiser initiated by Automobili Lamborghini, which successfully raised over $250,000. A noteworthy collaboration with Gillette during the World Finals at Vallelunga, Rome, saw a shaving booth set up, visited by one of the Movember association founders and Lamborghini executives, symbolizing support for the cause.
Extending its reach, Lamborghini partnered with the Bologna Football Club, displaying a Huracán Tecnica with QR codes linking to exclusive content on mental health and cancer prevention at a Series A championship match. As Movember concludes, Lamborghini’s array of successful activities demonstrates the impact of its efforts. However, the mission of raising awareness about men’s health continues beyond November, highlighting the brand’s commitment to this important cause year-round.
