Lexus gives its performance-oriented luxury SUV a dark edge.
Lexus recently introduced a new generation of its RX, which is the luxury titan’s best-seller and a groundbreaking luxury crossover. Among the new models revealed is a performance-oriented version, the Lexus RX 500h F SPORT Performance, which uses a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a hybrid system to develop a robust 366 horsepower and 406 lb/ft of torque. The unique approach to performance showcases hybrid innovation in a sporty luxury SUV package, and a new Black Line Special Edition Package for the 2025 model year enhances the sporty character even further.
The Black Line Special Edition Package is returning for the 2025 model year, and it darkens the luxury crossover for a sportier look, with black 21-inch wheels, black exterior parts, and eye-catching orange brake calipers. Limited to only 500 units for the model year, the package is exclusive, as well. The exterior color is Incognito, a newly available color for the model, with the interior finished in black with gray stitching, continuing the exclusive, sporty, and intimidating Black Line look.
Along with the performance-oriented range-topping RX 500h, the Lexus RX is also available as the RX 350, the RX 350h hybrid, and the RX 450h hybrid. The 2025 model year also sees the introduction of a new F SPORT Design package for the RX 350 and RX 350h, bringing Lexus’ performance-inspired design elements to the forefront. With the new exclusive Black Line Special Edition Package, which brings a sportier look limited to 500 units, Lexus’ performance-oriented crossover is sportier than ever.
