Maserati’s supercars take the spotlight at the Turin Auto Show.
Maserati’s new era of supercars has helped transform the historic Italian luxury brand as a whole, revolutionizing it with the Nettuno twin-turbo V6 performance engine, and introducing a growing lineup of supercars that offer unparalleled performance, racing potential, driving dynamics, engineering capabilities, and bespoke luxury options that were all unprecedented in the Maserati canon until the introduction of the MC20.
However, an even newer era has dawned for Maserati, with the new MCPURA emerging as the successor to the MC20, and the debut of the new supercar showing off the incredible potential of Maserati’s Fuoriserie customization program. Making its debut in Maserati’s home country of Italy at the 2025 Turin Auto Show, the Maserati MCPURA Coupe was shown off in a matte Ai Acqua Rainbow body color, while the Maserati MCPURA Cielo was shown off in a glossy version of the same color.
The debut of the new supercar wowed over 500,000 visitors, along with displays of other Maserati masterpieces both old and new, like the Merak, the Ghibli SS, the legendary 3500 GT, and the new ultra-exclusive racing supercar from Maserati, the MCXtrema. The MCXtrema was shown off in a Blu Extrema livery, one of just 62 units of the car that pushes the incredible Nettuno V6 engine to 740 horsepower in a track-only format with no holds barred when it comes to performance.
In the gorgeous setting of Turin, Italy, Maserati’s presence at the Turin Auto Show this year not only showcased the Italian debut of its new era of supercars, but also a stunning display of some of the historic manufacturer’s most cherished performance masterpieces from the past and today, showcasing the incredible journey that has led to the Maserati supercar and Italian luxury performance car lineup of today.
