McLaren Automotive is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the inaugural Can-Am race with the exclusive 650S Can-Am model. This model is a variant of the popular 650S that features an automatic, fully-retractable, carbon fiber hard top, and a number of cosmetic changes.
Only 50 examples of this car will be produced in either Mars Red, Papaya Spark and Onyx Black. So far, we’ve only been able to see the 650S Can-Am in Mars Red, as it was the color chosen for the debut, but now we get to see it in the vibrant Papaya Spark and dark Onyx Black color schemes.
On October 14, McLaren Automotive’s official Facebook page shared pictures of the two versions.
The Onyx Black version dons a mostly black body, with hints of red and even smaller hints of white. As for the Papaya Spark version, the car is highlighted by the electric Papaya Spark finish, which contrasts against the black trimming and equally bright purple accents.
