The new entry-level AMG GT offers fun-to-drive luxury.
The Mercedes-AMG GT is in its second generation, and as such, the range of available models is expanding. With two V8 powered models, the Mercedes-AMG GT 55 and flagship Mercedes-AMG GT 63, Mercedes-Benz has announced nother new model: the 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT 43. Aimed at drivers who want an elegant, luxurious grand tourer with an engaging, fun-to-drive character, the GT 43 is powered by AMG’s M139 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, providing it with 416 horsepower and 369 lb/ft of torque.
Sending power to the rear wheels, the AMG GT 43 promises engaging driving dynamics and a thrilling experience. In addition, a 48V mild hybrid system assists the powertrain and bolsters efficiency. The electric exhaust gas turbocharger uses technology derived from the Formula 1 circuit, as well.
To set it apart from its counterparts, the GT 43 features a revised front end, fenders, and rear fascia. The range of available wheels includes a 19-inch set, a staggered 19 and 20-inch set, and a 21-inch set. Everyday usability comes courtesy of the EASY PACK trunk lid, with hands free access, as well as standard 2+2 seating. Nappa leather upholstery comes standard, with an 11.9-inch touchscreen providing infotainment, equipped with the latest MBUX system.
With the rear-wheel drive and impressive horsepower to make winding roads and spirited drives a joy, the new Mercedes-AMG GT 43 expands the AMG GT family further, and showcases the elegant, luxurious grand tourer’s versatile character as a sports car.
