AMG highlights the diverse lives of AMG owners.

2024 NBA All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander isn’t just known for his impressive basketball talent and quick rise to stardom playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder, but also for a car collection that is growing just as steadily as his already-successful athletic career, despite being only 25 years old. However, one of his favorite cars in that collection is the daily driver that consistently takes him to and from games: a Mercedes-AMG G 63.

In the first episode of a brand new video series from Mercedes-AMG, AMG Uncovered, the young basketball star shows off his luxurious and powerful G 63, and talks about what makes it such a great vehicle to drive. Shot by Rankin Creative, this inaugural episode of the series will not only take an up-close personal look at the car, but also the impact it has on Gilgeous-Alexander’s personal life, including showing what he keeps inside the vehicle.

The series aims to show many of AMG’s various models, and the diverse group of people that own them, and how they enjoy their luxury performance vehicles in different ways. As the series continues, the stars who will show their cars include Lewis Hamilton, Australian supermodel Jess Hart, NASCAR racer James Kirkham, and Reema Juffali, driver for Theeba Motorsport. Each of them will show off a different AMG model: the AMG GT, AMG SL, and AMG C 63, and more, with Gilgeous-Alexander and one of the most iconic AMG models, the G 63, starting things off.

As the series continues, you’ll be able to watch episodes on YouTube, with Shai-Gilgeous Alexander’s episode out now. Through the series, Mercedes-AMG hopes to connect with the stories of AMG owners worldwide, who may live very different lives, but share a love for AMG’s blend of luxury and performance.
