In Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with the latest generation of the MBUX system will be able to watch IMAX Enhanced films in the Sony Pictures library thanks to a new collaboration between Mercedes-Benz, Sony Pictures Entertainment, IMAX, and DTS. As a result, RIDEVU, Sony Pictures Entertainment’s in-car service, has brought films like Uncharted, Venom: The Last Dance, and Spider-Man: No Way Home to Mercedes-Benz vehicles in IMAX Enhanced experience.
A wide library of movies can be bought or rented to watch, and can be viewed across the multiple screens in Mercedes-Benz vehicles, including the driver when the vehicle is parked. Screen Manager can be used to control the playback across the screens. With the latest infotainment tech from Mercedes-Benz, movie buffs can get the IMAX experience without needing to go to a theater.
