The Mercedes-AMG ONE hypercar, already a standout with its plug-in hybrid technology and astonishing 1,063 hp, now has a miniature doppelganger that’s just as remarkable as its full-scale self. In a creative collaboration, Mercedes-Benz and CaDA are proud to launch a detailed 1:8 scale model made of 3,295 interlocking building blocks. The replica embodies aesthetic brilliance while also introducing engineering precision from renowned designer BrunoJJ1. The Mercedes-AMG ONE model, stretching 22 inches in length, 9.5 inches in width, and 6 inches in height, comes with stunning details including its iconic longitudinal fin, retractable rear wing, and 10-spoke wheels sporting the original Michelin pattern. The model is fully motorized and complete with an independent suspension system, shock absorbers, and working LED lighting. Even the engine has been modeled to replicate the original 6-cylinder powerhouse, featuring a Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) simulated with pullback motors.
The hypercar’s maneuverability gets another tick in the box with its two-speed transmission and a remote control to navigate it. For BrunoJJ1, designing this masterpiece started from the inside out, beginning with the chassis, engine, and wheel suspension, before moving on to the exterior construction. BrunoJJ1’s dedication to detail was also supported by 3D-printed prototypes of special parts from CaDA, ensuring the Mercedes-AMG model is as close to the original as possible. The meticulously designed replica kit includes a Pro L-motor, a Pro servo motor, a receiver/battery box, a set of lights, a steering wheel-controlled remote, and illustrated building instructions.
