Ducati unveils the limited-edition Monster Senna, paying tribute to Ayrton Senna with a Brazilian livery and high-performance upgrades.
Ducati celebrates the legendary career of Ayrton Senna with an exclusive collector’s limited-edition Monster motorcycle. Senna, a passionate motorcyclist and dedicated Ducatista, now has a motorcycle that pays homage to his F1 legacy. The Monster Senna will be limited to just 341 units as a nod to his three World Titles and 41 Grand Prix wins. The special livery, created by Centro Stile Ducati in collaboration with Senna Brands, draws inspiration from the helmet Senna wore throughout his career, featuring iconic colors from the Brazilian flag. Senna was among the first to own the original Monster 900, a bike he rode around Monte Carlo, embodying his love for simple yet powerful motorcycling joy.
The Monster Senna was unveiled at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Imola by Claudio Domenicali (Ducati CEO), Bianca Senna (Senna Brands CEO), and Stefano Domenicali (Formula 1 President and CEO). This motorcycle celebrates the deep bond between Ducati and Senna, a relationship that began in 1990 when Senna received a Ducati 851 SP and later collaborated on the iconic Ducati 916 Senna.
The Monster Senna comes equipped with a 937 cc Testastretta 11° engine, generating an impressive 111 horsepower and 69 lb-ft of torque to its rear wheel. Upgrades include Öhlins suspension, Brembo Stylema brakes, and other top-tier components, making it lightweight, fast, and easy to handle. Hidden details like the wheels’ yellow, green, and blue tags, yellow brake calipers, and Termignoni carbon fiber silencers enhance its track-focused look and feel. Each bike includes a plaque with its model name and number, a certificate of authenticity, and a dedicated motorcycle cover. The Monster Senna is a remarkable tribute to a racing legend and will become available at authorized Ducati dealers soon.
