Say Hello to the 2020 Ducati Panigale Superleggera V4

Just when you thought Superbike technology has reached a plateau, Ducati drops the mic on the entire industry. What you see here is the antithesis of the electric motorcycle. Say hello to the 2020 Ducati Panigale Superleggera V4, the first motorcycle with a carbon-fiber chassis.

This new beast from Borgo makes use of composites for the entire load-bearing surface of the bike. Starting with a clean-sheet design, the subframe, swingarm, wheels and more. Potential buyers will be allowed track time on the V4 R, the same machine that competes in World Superbike for 2020.

Engineers shaved 6 lbs from the block, and it offers 234 horsepower though Akrapovic pipes. The dry clutch is music to the ears, and the Desmo drive is adjustable on both sides. With a dry-weight of 350 lbs.
