An old friend is making a comeback. The 2022 Mercedes-AMG SL has begun winter testing nearly 70 years after it arrived in the U.S. This teaser hit our inbox this morning like a ton of bricks. Moving upmarket, the SL has traded in Mercedes-Benz branding to become exclusively the product of Mercedes-AMG. Staying true to other aspects, they mention SL still stands for Super Light. Development on this new flagship began in the digital realm, and now its being flogged near the Arctic Circle. Of course, the finishing touches will be made on the ‘Ring.
