Bentley is making a grand entrance on European roads with the first of its 24 limited edition Continental GT Le Mans Collection models, all handcrafted by Mulliner, Bentley’s personal commissioning division. Kicking off in Dusseldorf, Germany, this ultra-luxury collection celebrates Bentley’s historic ties with the iconic Le Mans 24-hour race. Owners of these exclusive models will receive more than just an exclusive Bentley. A unique car cover comes with each vehicle, along with a special wooden presentation box in Piano Black and Verdant, matching the car itself.
Inside the box are the car key, an exclusive Speed 8 sculpture, and a booklet detailing the sculpture’s creation, all authenticated by a plaque signed by Bentley Motors’ CEO Adrian Hallmark and Mulliner and Motorsport Director Ansar Ali. This collector’s pack is complete with a Speed 8 book, penned by automotive expert Andrew Cotton. This hardback dives deep into the history of Bentley’s Speed 8 race car, adding a valuable layer of narrative to the Le Mans Collection.
Design-wise, the GT Le Mans models are replete with unique features. For starters, a valve from the engine of the 2003 Le Mans-winning #7 Speed 8 is housed in the Bentley Rotating Display on the dashboard. The exterior is decked in Verdant green paintwork, a Moonbeam racing stripe, and a No. 7 emblem on the grille. Inside, you’ll find a luxurious cockpit trimmed in Beluga hide and a bespoke, 24-hour dial design replacing the standard 12-hour analog clock.
Under the hood, these beauties boast Bentley’s renowned 6.0L W12 engine, delivering an eye-watering 650 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. That translates into a top speed of 208 mph and a 0-60 mph time of just 3.5 seconds. With so much luxury and performance packed in, the GT Le Mans Collection is a true celebration of Bentley’s racing heritage.
