Under the hood is the indestructible 3.6L V6. First developed for the CTS, it has spread across all GM brands. It offers 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque, and it responds well to intake and exhaust upgrades.

Base models will be FWD, and a twin-clutch AWD system is optional. Both receive power from a new 9-speed automatic automatic transmission.
