This Ferrari SF90XX Spider finds its new home on U.S. soil.
While every Ferrari that rolls off Maranello’s factory line proves to be special in its own way, the Italian marque dedicates a portion of its production to engineering some truly rare and exceptional models. Past predecessors like the Daytona SP3, LaFerrari, and Monza SP1/SP2 have cemented themselves as rolling icons in the history of Ferrari, making each rare a commodity amongst passionate collectors and enthusiasts. Since its debut to the world as Ferrari’s first road-legal XX series supercar, the SF90XX and its open-top Spider variant have gained traction as the brand’s next must-have, limited-production model. With only 599 examples of each slotted for production worldwide, only Ferrari VIPs with already impressive collections of Italian prancing horses could buy an SF90XX and SF90XX Spider brand new. Opting for the open-top version of Ferrari’s most track-inspired supercar, this SF90XX Spider came painted from the factory in a stealthy Verde Oliva finish. The gloss olive green paint shade highlights the SF90XX’s aero-focused body design, contrasting against the carbon louvers, ducts, and rear wing that channel air for both cooling and downforce. Its lightweight look and feel continue with a set of 20-inch carbon fiber wheels that are 40% lighter than the standard wheel offered. Letting its exterior turn heads from the outside, the cabin features a subtly designed black Alcantara interior with grey contrast striping and tons of exposed carbon trim.
Under the Ferrari SF90XX Spider’s rear deck sits a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 paired with three electric motors, delivering a combined 1,016 horsepower. That powerplant is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission that delivers precise shifts and sends power to all four wheels. With launch control engaged, this hybrid track star sprints from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.3 seconds, making it quicker than most purpose-built race cars.
