Genesis partners with TGR Live and PGA TOUR for California Rises, donating $8 million and 100 vehicles to wildfire relief efforts.
Genesis is stepping up in a big way to support communities affected by the devastating California wildfires that started at the beginning of last month. Through the California Rises initiative, launched in partnership with TGR Live and the PGA TOUR, Genesis is donating $8 million in cash contributions and 100 tournament vehicles to help with relief and rebuilding efforts. The 2025 Genesis Invitational, relocated to Torrey Pines due to the fires, will serve as a venue to raise awareness and funds for organizations like the American Red Cross, World Central Kitchen, and the California Fire Foundation. Proceeds from ticket sales, official merchandise, and even every birdie and eagle made during the tournament will directly benefit the cause.

As part of the initiative, Genesis is donating GV70 and GV80 SUVs to nonprofits aiding in disaster relief, such as the Salvation Army Southern California Division and the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation. Additionally, Genesis’ Southern California retailers have collectively contributed $150,000 to support the relief efforts further. The Genesis Invitational will also feature activations like Postcards from the Tee, where fans can send messages of appreciation to first responders, and a special edition California Rises poster designed by artist Jonas Never.
Beyond the donations, the Genesis Invitational will also debut “Chippin’ In,” a new series featuring PGA TOUR players and California natives Max Homa and Collin Morikawa, raising funds for the California Fire Foundation. Genesis and its partners are focusing efforts on California Rises and its commitment to rebuilding lives. View all Genesis models for sale on duPont REGISTRY by clicking the link below.
