When the virus hit, Goodwood decided to push back their events to stay safe. We applaud this for a few reasons. First off, the cool October weather will wake up the world’s fastest cars. Secondly, it will allow GoodWood SpeedWeek to include World-Class celebrations.

Presented by Mastercard, Porsche will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of their first LeMans win. It will also be 70th anniversary of Formula 1. A parade will include a tribute to Sir Stirling Moss with exhibitions from Graham Hill, Emerson Fittipaldi and Jenson Button. Of the celebrated manufacturers, Jaguars from the TWR era will include a gathering of V12-powered Group C cars representing five years of endurance racing. It will be the first time the XJR cars will be in the same location.
McLarens of all era will be led by the MP4-15 from the 2000 season. Other activities will include historic racing and supercar exhibitions, but attendance will be limited. That’s why all events will be streaming on YouTube over the weekend of October 16-18. Stay with us for all your Goodwood news with highlights and a recap after the events.
