The widely anticipated Tamiya Wild One MAX Launch Edition by The Little Car Company is set to hit the stage this summer, reigniting the passion of off-road enthusiasts worldwide. Building on the original Tamiya Wild One radio-controlled car legacy, first launched in 1985, this full-scale vehicle revamp marks an exciting chapter in the Tamiya lineage. Limited to 100 examples, the Launch Edition reflects a fusion of past nostalgia and modern advancements. The project, led by The Little Car Company, included several enhancements based on community feedback, delivering an upgraded vehicle with increased performance and usability despite industry-wide supply delays.

The Tamiya Wild One MAX Launch Edition boasts top-of-the-line features, including Cobra bucket seats with 4-point harnesses, a marine-spec 5” digital screen, Brembo disc brakes, Bilstein dampers with Eibach springs, and 14” Maxxis off-road tires. The cockpit has been widened for greater comfort, accommodating two occupants, a key request from the community. Modifications to the front suspension turrets and an upgrade from a ‘trailing arm’ design to a double wishbone have increased visibility and pedestrian safety.
