Maserati, the Italian luxury vehicle manufacturer, will make history at the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The marque revealed two highly anticipated models, the Ghibli 334 Ultima and Levante V8 Ultima, marking the end of the illustrious V8 engine lineage that has seen over 100,000 units sold since 1959. Alongside the Levante V8 Ultima, these models are expected to become coveted collector’s items in the coming months, earning their global debut on Goodwood’s prestigious grounds. Festival-goers can expect an immersive experience at the First Glance Paddock, including the opportunity to see the Ghibli in action during the hillclimb event.
Taking part in the Goodwood hillclimb is also the GranTurismo Trofeo, powered by the formidable 542-hp V6 Nettuno engine. This model showcases an innovative pre-chamber combustion system, derived from Formula 1 and highlighting Maserati’s commitment to pushing boundaries in automotive performance and showcasing its future approach to high performance.
Moving towards a sustainable future, Maserati presents the GranTurismo Folgore, the brand’s first all-electric car, boasting 800-volt battery technology. This innovative electric flagship delivers an impressive performance, with over 750 hp thanks to three powerful 300-kW permanent magnet motors. In addition, festival-goers can explore the Maserati Grecale Folgore, Maserati’s second fully electric model and the first mid-size luxury SUV on the market.
The Goodwood Festival also sees the return of the MC20 Cielo, which debuted last year with David Beckham. Now resplendent in Rosso Vincente, this eye-catching model, powered by the F1-derived 621-hp V6 Nettuno engine, will surely be a head-turner throughout the four-day event.
