This new retro-inspired supercar is made to be insane.
The concept of a supercar, in itself, is a zany one. With mid or rear-mounted engines made for performance, dramatic looks, and a particular lack of everyday practicality, but two twins formed Oilstainlab in 2018, intending to make “never being sane” the MO for a new supercar. That supercar is the Oilstainlab HF-11, a new supercar with retro-inspired style, naturally aspirated available flat-six engines, an option for a manual transmission, and rear-wheel drive.
With a targeted weight of just 2,000 pounds, and as much as 1,200 horsepower thanks to a 12,000-rpm rev limit, the Oilstainlab HF-11 is an incredible racing-inspired machine, the brainchild of Oilstainlab’s founders, two twins with an affinity for automotive performance. The supercar is inspired by classic racing machines and is meant to adopt a purist approach to thrilling driving.
Created to be the best of both worlds, the Oilstainlab HF-11 seeks to be a time capsule of retro racing with the greatest innovations of modern high performance. With its incredible power and purist aspects, the HF-11 seeks to be the most maniacal manifestation of an endangered performance era.
