Uniting both brands for the ultimate EV-friendly boat release, Polestar and Candela are proud to debut the all-new Candela C-8 Polestar edition. The C-8 Polestar edition features a bespoke solid light grey finish, exclusively designed seat upholstery, and hydrofoils painted in iconic Swedish gold.
The Candela C-8 Polestar edition brings the automaker's expression of Scandinavian luxury to the marine industry, using Polestar to supply batteries and charging technology to power the boat. The Candela hydrofoil system allows the C-8 to glide above the water's surface, offering outstanding comfort and reducing energy requirements. Candela C-8 boats are powered by the 69-kWh battery and charging hardware from the standard-range Polestar 2 to provide a range of up to 57 nautical miles on one charge at a cruising speed of 22 knots. The Candela C-8 Polestar edition is available online through Polestar or Candela starting at $450,000, with deliveries expected to begin in June 2024.
