Pagani Automobili’s participation in the Historic Minardi Day on August 26 and 27 is going to be nothing short of thrilling for automotive enthusiasts around the globe. Marking the 7th edition of the event, the celebration brings together fans of F1, prototypes, GT, and historic cars at the iconic Enzo and Dino Ferrari International Circuit in Imola, Italy.
The weekend is packed with track sessions, exhibitions, and, of course, the opportunity to see some of Pagani’s most remarkable creations in action. The stars of the show include the Huayra R, the uncompromising masterpiece presented in 2021, the Zonda R with its unique simplicity in driving, and the Huayra Roadster BC known for its significant performance.
Alongside these racetrack beasts, Pagani is showcasing the new Utopia, its latest hypercar that embodies a unique and visionary automotive idea. The 6-litre biturbo V12 engine, an exclusive piece produced by Mercedes-AMG, delivers an impressive 864 hp and 811 lb/ft of torque. Having taken six years to achieve its final form, Utopia is characterized by simple and unrepeatable design. Produced in only 99 units, the car has already found its dedicated owners.
Other iconic models will also be on display, including the Zonda C12 and Huayra, representing the brand’s milestones. In particular, the Zonda is a symbolic result of the relationship between a young and imaginative designer and the legendary F1 champion Juan Manuel Fangio, a mentor to Horacio Pagani.
An exquisite example of elegance is the ultra-exclusive Huayra Codalunga, a limited edition created by Pagani Grandi Complicazioni. Its retro 60s-inspired style, powerful V12 engine, and unique design attributes made it a standout at the event, especially because only five of these cars will be built. Moreover, the special ceramic coating and signature exhaust system paid tribute to the racing cars of Le Mans.
The Huayra Roadster HP is another marvel that will be on display. This one-off model, a result of Pagani’s latest aerodynamic studies, flaunted a monocoque carbon-titanium frame and a V12 engine that delivers 840 hp and 811 lb/ft of torque at 2,000 rpm/min.
The participation of Pagani in the Historic Minardi Day marks another significant milestone in celebrating the brand’s 25th anniversary. This enthralling weekend not only offers a mesmerizing display of engineering artistry but also provided a fitting tribute to Pagani’s quarter-century dedication to automotive passion. It serves as a vivid reminder of why the Modenese brand continues to be a favorite among car enthusiasts, collectors, and industry aficionados alike. Pagani’s presence at the event reaffirms the strong bond between Pagani and the Motor Valley’s iconic circuits, reinforcing a legacy that’s sure to accelerate even further in the years to come.
