Pagani makes a grand return to its roots.
In 1991, Horacio Pagani founded Modena Design, which set out to develop pioneering composite material tech. Modena Design would go on to be paramount to the genesis of Pagani’s hypercars, a lineup that has blossomed into over 25 years of rich heritage, consisting of some of the world’s most coveted and desirable machines. Now, Modena Design is returning, playing a crucial role yet again in Pagani’s automotive excellence.
The firm is a precision CNC machining company dedicated to creating parts for the automotive, aerospace, and biomedical industries. Like Pagani itself, its specialty is combining cutting-edge technology with artisan craftsmanship. Producing aluminum, titanium, and special metal components, Modena Design currently makes 700 components for each Pagani Utopia.
From the beginning, Pagani has been known for its unique ability to create innovative and delightfully artful hypercars in equal measure. However, the revival of Modena Design takes that automotive excellence a step further, adding to its already-celebrated technology and artisan ethos the ability to machine excellent parts, both for Pagani’s own coveted hypercar lineup and for global industry.
