With all recent releases from Monterey Car Week 2022, Pagani Automobili is continuing its celebration of the Huayra R track car. Deemed to be the “year of the R”, Pagani is proud to have made its U.S. debut of the Huayra R on the tarmac of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. The special appearance came during the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, an annual event in which historic and modern race cars can compete on one of the most iconic circuits in the world. Not only did Pagani bring its track-only version of the Huayra, but also eight other magnificent models specifically for Monterey Car Week festivities.

The Pagani Huayra R set out on what seemed to be an incredibly quick sprint, climbing high in the rpms for all in attendance to enjoy. Although Laguna Seca is set up as a 2.238-mile track with various levels of elevations, the astonishing high-pitched sound of Pagani’s V12-R engine echoed through the mountainous landscape. The Pagani Huayra R achieves a mind-blowing 838 horsepower and 553 foot-pounds of torque using a handcrafted 6.0-Liter Naturally-Aspirated V12, taking its top speed to 238mph.
