Porsche Cars North America just hit a milestone in the automotive space, celebrating a record-breaking year with 75,415 vehicles delivered in the United States. This sales figure sets a new high for Porsche while also showcasing a notable 7.6% increase from the previous record in 2022. It’s an example of Porsche’s ongoing appeal amongst owners and collectors, highlighting a year filled with milestones, including the company’s 75th anniversary and the launch of the new Cayenne. Porsche’s success in 2023 didn’t go unnoticed. Thanks to their independently owned and operated dealerships, Porsche clinched the top spot among luxury brands in the 2023 J.D. Power U.S. Sales Satisfaction Index Study. Timo Resch, President and CEO of PCNA, expressed gratitude to customers and hinted at an exciting 2024 with several special new car debuts on the horizon.

The real stars of 2023 were the iconic 911 and the versatile Macan. For the first time since 2007, over 11,000 911 models found homes in the U.S., up by 14.6% from 2022. The Macan, not to be outdone, broke its own record with 26,947 deliveries, surpassing its previous best from 2021. This represents a strong growth of 13.8%. The electric Taycan also made impressive strides in the EV sector, accounting for 10% of Porsche North America’s total sales with a 4.1% increase. Additionally, the 718 emerged as the fastest-growing model line, witnessing a nearly 30% wave in 2023. The year also saw the third-generation Cayenne drive past 20,000 sales, a feat achieved only once before in PCNA history.

Capping off this remarkable year, Porsche’s Approved Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program also set a record with 38,788 cars sold, marking a 17.7% year-over-year increase. This spectacular performance across new and pre-owned models further emphasizes Porsche’s commitment to quality, luxury, and performance.
