When it comes to securing the title of a frequent flyer, we’ve all heard about some of the amazing perks available when racking up flight miles on your preferred airline. Whether it be free stays at high-end hotels or seat upgrades, the benefits prove to be a generous gesture but not as exciting as what Delta is proposing as an exclusive perk to some of its customers. In a recent post on Monroe Garage’s Instagram page, photographs emerge of a dark blue Porsche 918 Spyder hypercar with Delta logos awaiting an arrival flight on the airstrip’s tarmac. Delta Airlines is rewarding some of its flyers with a Porsche 918 Spyder chauffeur from Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL).

Delta chose Atlanta for the one-of-a-kind experience because it stands out as the world’s busiest airport, which also resides close to Porsche‘s Experience Center. Flyers chosen to skip the terminal for a ride in the Porsche 918 Spyder are greeted by a Delta Elite Services employee ready to invite them into the passenger seat of the multi-million dollar hybrid hypercar. Although the 918 Spyder is the ultimate choice for the Delta x Porsche fleet, the hypercar will only be available as a plane-side shuttle until the end of July 2023.
