Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S vs Porsche Panamera Turbo S e-Hybrid

If you are in the market for a German sedan, get ready to take notes. Our friends at Autocar just uploaded a Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S vs Porsche Panamera Turbo S e-Hybrid. If you are reading this, you are probably experienced in one (if not both) of these brands. Each car took years to develop only to arrive when SUVs are hot again. So take a quick glance at their specs.

Both cars are powered by twin turbo 4.0L V8 engines. Mercedes offers 630 horsepower and 640 lb-ft of torque. Porsche has 677 horsepower and 626 lb-ft of torque. But that is only available on a full charge. The 14 kWh battery allows for 30 miles of electric cruising and less harmful emissions. Both cars are All Wheel Drive, and they both have great styling.

The major difference is in price. The base price of the Mercedes is $136,500, but the Porsche is $50,000 more. Spending that much more for electric assist seems silly given the price of a Tesla Model 3. Tell us which one you would choose in the comments below and have a great weekend.
