Porsche opens a very different kind of dealership.

Especially within the United States, Brooklyn is a unique community. With a high concentration of art, culture, and general vibrance, the lively setting makes for a place like few others in the world. It’s for that reason that Porsche’s Brooklyn dealership took an unorthodox approach to the retail concept, and created a retail concept for the luxury brand that is the first of its kind. Situated in a mixed-use building, as many are in the area, the dealership inaugurates Porsche’s Urban Store format, as a street-level space where people are able to walk in and experience the Porsche brand.

The 10,000-square-foot space shares the building with apartments, offices, restaurants, and the Brooklyn Nets Training Center in Industry City and the airy environment full of natural light welcomes guests and embraces the surrounding neighborhood. In addition to the dealership, the service reception area is in the same space, and the service and parts center for the new Porsche Brooklyn dealership is located just a block away, which is 16,000 square feet itself. In line with its progressive surroundings, the December 7 grand opening of the dealership featured local food, musicians, and 200 attendees, and Porsche Brooklyn looks forward to being an important part of Porsche’s environmental sustainability goals, looking to achieve LEED certification for sustainable interior design.
