For the automotive industry, many aspects of China make it quite a unique market. Whether it’s purchasing, driving, and car ownership behaviors that are unique to China, or the distinct challenges that dense urban environments located throughout the country present, China is a country that requires automotive firms to show ingenuity and creativity, whether it be just for the Chinese market or for the entire world. To this end, Porsche Engineering has established a site in Shanghai, where 130 employees are tasked with high-tech automotive projects. However, Porsche has made the decision to expand its technology service provider’s Chinese presence with a new office in Beijing.
