While only one driver can finish first on a track, everyone in a race can share their passion for cars.
As it turns out, when it comes to the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, the exhilarating driving experiences aren’t just for the track. Along the way, drivers, team managers, mechanics, and enthusiasts gathered to make the journey in impeccable style to Imola for the race weekend. For the Porsche Passion Drive 2022, they set off from the hotel Schwan Locke in Munich for a trip through Bavaria, Austria, and eventually to Bologna to race at Imola.

The drive went through all manners of European driving road in a stunning and iconic scenic route, which included roads like the Reschen Pass in South Tyrol’s Vinschgau mountain valley, the famed Stelvio Pass with 48 turns and a climb of over 6,000 feet. After driving along the Dolomites, the drive approached Bologna, the final destination, where the Porsche Carrera Cup would be held at Imola.
While many people on the Passion Drive would return to being rivals on the course at Imola for the race weekend, the Passion Drive was a time in which everyone could enjoy the beauty of the road and the feeling of driving a Porsche together without a competition at stake. All kinds of Porsches were there, from modern 911s to classic cars, from Targas and Turbos to GT models, and the same went for the people that participated. The Porsche Passion Drive 2022 celebrated what makes being a Porsche enthusiast and a sports car enthusiast so great: the passion for driving that everyone shares.
