This isn’t just any 993 that was sitting in the museum, it’s all new. In a press release also earlier today, we’ve learned that it took 18 months to get here. You can’t deny all the prices of air-cooled turbos have skyrocketed in the last decade, so perhaps the factory is tired of seeing 20-year old examples selling for more than a new Porsche 911 Turbo S.

The upcoming 992 Series 911 will be a Swiss Army Knife. It will be the basis for all Porsche 911 variants for the immediate future, and we have no doubt it will have mindblowing improvements.
