Lamborghini Miura at Prescott Hill Climb

Prescott, in Gloucestershire, has been run by the Bugatti Owners' Club since 1938; a narrow strip of tarmac cut into a hillside, timed to the hundredth of a second. It is an unusual place to find a Miura, and that is precisely the point of this photograph.
The car is the 'Twiggy' Miura, named for its first owner, Justin de Villeneuve, who managed Twiggy through the 1960s. It is also believed to have passed through Bernie Ecclestone's ownership. Behind the seats sits the 3,929cc V12, mounted transversely amidships — the layout that made the Miura the first true supercar and that every serious performance manufacturer has copied since. Marcello Gandini drew the body at Bertone while still in his twenties. Ferruccio Lamborghini did not want the car built.
Ward has photographed it away from the concours lawn, in working light, where the shape reads as engineering rather than sculpture.
Provenance and edition
One hundred pieces of this Lamborghini wall art will be produced. That figure is absolute; it covers every size and every material combined, not one hundred per format. When the edition closes it is retired permanently and never reprinted.
Each piece ships with a certificate of authenticity stating the edition number, the title, and the exact dimensions and format supplied, hand-signed by both the artist and the Limited100 curator. A brushed aluminium decal is fixed to the reverse.
