A new partnership puts Rivian in the limelight.
At the forefront of adventure-ready electric vehicle innovation, Rivian boasts an expanding lineup of vehicles that feature innovation, style, and rugged capabilities. However, its unique brand is expanding its reach, as Rivian has announced that it will be a headlining sponsor of SXSW for the next two years. A festival celebrating the intersection of innovation and creativity, SXSW is the perfect partner for Rivian’s ethos of high-tech adventuring.
The partnership with the festival will bring a series of joint activations, including a transformation of Rivian’s South Congress flagship into a Texas roadhouse-inspired Electric Roadhouse, combining classic Southwestern Americana with the futurism of electric mobility. At the festival, Rivian’s founder and CEO, RJ Scaringe, will provide a keynote for attendees, and festivalgoers will also be able to interact with the new Rivian R2, a model yet to hit the market.
Next year, the SXSW festival is set to take place from March 7 to March 15. The Electric Roadhouse will be open to the public, with priority access given to SXSW badge holders. Demo drives and Rivian’s sponsorship of the SXSW Transportation Track will also be part of next year’s festival.
