Algar Ferrari of Philadelphia sold this Daytona new to Robert P. Minnick of Buffalo, New York; in 1976, he advertised it for sale with a custom stereo and 10,000 miles on the odometer. The Daytona’s next 28 years were spent with two long-term owners in New York and Ohio, with an approximate 37,500 miles accrued in total. Subsequent owners based in Colorado and California maintained 16447 in fine condition, as attested to by a 2005 appraisal included in the documentation. In 2010, well-known enthusiast Wayne Carini purchased the Daytona and returned it to the original Metallic Silver livery with a bare-metal repaint.
