The Dream Ride Experience will take place from August 25-27, 2017 at the Farmington Polo Grounds in Farmington, CT. Dream Ride is more than just an event; it is a movement of making dreams come true.
The Dream Ride Experience is a weekend of events that include Dream Ride, Dream Cruise, Dream Show Cars all benefiting Special Olympics and other charities. The Dream Ride Experience is the signature event of The Hometown Foundation, Inc. The Hometown Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit charitable foundation dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and their families within the community. The Hometown Foundation, Inc. honors and assists six distinct areas of interest, children in need, major illness, intellectual disabilities, military, emergency response personnel, and animal welfare.
One of the largest pieces of The Dream Ride Experience is the cars. Last year we gave over 200 Special Olympics Athletes rides in exotic and classic cars in the Dream Cruise and displayed over 500 million dollars in cars including eight Pagani Huayra Coupes, 2 Pagani Zondas, 4 Ferrari LaFerraris, and an array of one-off cars. The Dream Cruise and Dream Show are the two must attend car events in the Northeast.
The Dream Cruise is a 12.7 mile drive on Saturday evening where Special Olympics Athletes are paired with the exotic and classic car owners who give them the opportunity to ride in their vehicles. The police escorted cruise journeys through the Farmington Valley and ends at The Farmington Club, where the athletes are honored at a red carpet affair. The event truly gives drivers the ability to change athletes lives and make their entire year.
The Dream Show this year will be rivaled only by the finest car shows such as The Quail. At the Dream Show this year Miller Motorcars will once again create an iconic display of rare Paganis. The display will include the East Coast debut of the highly anticipated Huayra Roadster, the largest gathering of Huayra BC’s in the USA, multiple Huayra Coupes, and a very special one off Zonda. In addition to the cars, senior members of the Pagani executive team will be in attendance.
Ferrari of New England will be working with Ferrari and Maserati corporate to create a rally from the dealership and a display of modern and vintage Ferraris. Herb Chambers Lamborghini of Boston is working with Lamborghini corporate to present a full Lamborghini lineup and McLaren of Boston will present the new 720s and the full McLaren range.
In addition to the fine automobiles, Dream Ride also offers top quality VIP experiences. Options are as follows:
- VIP tickets include Dream Show and Dream Cruise registration as well as access to the VIP tent and VIP amenities. The ticket also includes dinner Saturday night and lunch Sundaycooked by a personal chef.
- The Dream Package include Friday’s Hypercross event at Lime Rock Park, Friday Night VIP dinner, a VIP ticket, and two nights hotel stay.
