To showcase the newest Grand Tourer in the Italian automaker’s range: The Ferrari Portofino, Ferrari of Atlanta recently gave enthusiasts a sneak peek through a series of test drives and static display events. The premiere week kicked off with a VIP test drive event where the dealership’s clients had the opportunity to drive the V8 on Roswell, Georgia’s beautiful, scenic roads while their guests relaxed in the newly renovated, state of the art showroom facility.
Later that week, Ferrari of Atlanta hosted a static display at Atlanta’s luxury shopping destination, the Shops at Buckhead. The event was a co-activation with Tod’s, one of Ferrari’s long-time lifestyle partners. VIP credentials were given out to clients of both brands who wished to come see the Ferrari up close while they sipped champagne and shopped for their bespoke driving shoes.
Ferrari’s latest 2+2 “Daily Driver” is quite a leap from its predecessor. It checks off all of the boxes on any GT car lover’s list, especially when it comes to its versatility, performance, and design. The new body style, reminiscent of an 812 Berlinetta, adds elegant lines and dimension that the California T currently lacks. And, let’s not forget the added 40hp (which brings it to 591bhp). The engine is a reworked version of Ferrari’s award-winning 3.9-litre twin turbo V8, good for 561lb ft of torque from 3000 to 5250rpm.
Ferrari of Atlanta is now taking orders for the new Portofino, with the first deliveries expected to begin in early to mid-2019.
