McLaren Beverly Hills recently had the new McLaren 720S Spider at their location, not too long after the supercar’s unveiling. During their time with the new McLaren, they took it out for a cruise around beautiful Rodeo Drive. Grubbs Photography was on hand to capture the 720S Spider make its way around town, resulting in the beautiful imagery down below.
The new McLaren 720S Spider comes with a retractable hardtop that will open or close in just 11 seconds at speeds of up to 31 mph. That’s quick. There’s also an optional electrochromic glass insert for the top that can go from clear to dark at the flick of a switch.
Powering the 720S Spider is McLaren’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which offers 710 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque. Combine that power with a weight just 2,937 lbs and you have a 0 to 60 mph time of just 2.8 seconds!
