Highly successful entrepreneur Michael Fux may very well be more famous for his massive collection of modern-day supercars than for his prosperous business ventures, even though the latter certainly deserves all the credit for the former. But for anyone passionate about cars, the discrepancy isn’t the least bit hard to understand when face-to-face with Fux’s awe-inspiring automotive spread. And now, Mecum Auctions is offering 25 examples of Fux’s awe-inspiring automotive collection at their Kissimmee event, January 3-13, 2019. Below is just a select sample of the cars they’ll be auctioning off.
2016 Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta
Iconic Rosso Corsa
2014 Ferrari LaFerrari
Considered one of most exclusive and sought-after Ferraris of the modern era, only 499 examples of the LaFerrari coupe were constructed between June 2013 and January 2016, and only for a select clientele. The example on offer—with a mere 418 miles on the odometer—was constructed in 2014 and came from the factory resplendent in custom-ordered Rosso Fuoco paint with 19/20-inch black alloy forged wheels that feature custom red pinstriping. Other custom-ordered factory options include carbon-fiber fog lamps, custom-stitched Prancing Stallions on the headrests, dashboard carbon-fiber livery, Prancing Horse emblem on the gas-filler cap, color-matched interior vents, red stitching on the seats and the carbon-fiber lower part package. An indication of the car’s unique, bespoke nature is the inclusion of the signatures of all the Ferrari technicians that constructed the car on the engine’s carbon-fiber coverplate.

2013 McLaren 12C Spider
The stablemate to collector Michael Fux’s 2012 McLaren MP4-12C, this 2013 MP4-12C Spider was likewise fully personalized for Fux, this time at a cost exceeding even that of the 2012 coupe, specifying among its $150,000 in factory options a custom-blended paint color, the eponymously named Fux Purple. The paint is just one of the myriad custom features provided by McLaren Special Operations to make this MP4-12C Spider a one-of-a-kind rendition of McLaren’s amazing supercar. This 2013 MP4-12C has been fully customized by McLaren Special Operations. Complementing the unique Fux Purple
2012 McLaren 12C

This MP4-12C’s cornucopia of optional features begins with its special-order McLaren Orange paint and matching McLaren Orange full leather interior incorporating McLaren Orange on the leather steering wheel, gear levers, air vents and cluster housing, a truly mesmerizing combination sharply offset by lightweight forged wheels in Stealth finish with Orange pinstriping. The standard cast-iron brake rotors were traded for carbon-ceramic units inside McLaren Orange calipers to complete the car’s brilliant palette. Custom carbon-fiber components are used extensively throughout, including the splitter, diffuser, engine covers, engine-bay panel, seat backs, sill panels, wheel arches, the leaf screen, engine-bay vents
