In the crowded luxury watch market, newcomer NORQAIN quickly emerged as a leader in innovation, performance, and design.
In just six years, the independent, family-owned Swiss brand has found a home in nearly 300 retailers worldwide and built a loyal following of customers called “NORQAINERS.” Its rapid ascent and stellar reputation for quality are largely attributed to the success of the brand’s high-performance sports watches, particularly the Wild ONE and Wild ONE Skeleton.
Launched in 2022, NORQAIN’s 84-gram Wild ONE captured immediate attention with its innovative design, superior shock resistance, and groundbreaking proprietary material, NORTEQ.
Co-designed with industry icon and NORQAIN Board Advisor Jean-Claude Biver, the Wild ONE features a unique 25-piece case construction that houses a Kenissi movement with a 70-hour power reserve. This movement is hermetically sealed in a titanium and sapphire crystal container, surrounded by a rubber shock absorber, and completed with a scratch-resistant top and bottom plate forming a NORTEQ cage. NORQAIN’s proprietary material, NORTEQ, is a carbon fiber composite that weighs six times lighter than steel and 3.5 times lighter than titanium. The result is a robust and precise COSC-certified sports watch with 200m water resistance and shock-resistance tested to 5,000g.
NORQAIN didn’t stop there, though. In fact, the brand launched an even lighter and more popular skeletonized variation in bolder and brighter colors, like Gecko Green, Coral Red and Turquoise. NORQAIN’s best-seller, the eye-catching Wild ONE Skeleton Turquoise, repeatedly sold out after it was seen on the wrists of celebrities, like actor Mark Wahlberg and three-time Grand Slam-winner Stan Wawrinka. The Swiss brand spent much of 2024 working to meet the growing demand for all three colorways.
