Rolls-Royce is the epitome of luxury and comfort. For years Rolls-Royce did not bother with performance figures, and if you insisted, the answer was sufficient. In 1988 that was 200 hp from a 6.75 L V8 in a 5000 lb car, which is sufficient if you do not accelerate beyond the 25 MPH speed limit on Wort Avenue. In 1985, the Grey Poupon advertising campaign featured a man chauffeured in a Rolls-Royce searching for more mustard. The ad hit the nail on the head; the best way to enjoy a Rolls-Royce was by hiring a chauffeur and enjoying a sandwich in the back
Fast forward to 2019 and Rolls-Royce is a different entity. Both the Wraith and Dawn are powered by twin-turbocharged BMW V12 engines producing 623 HP and 642 LB-Ft of torque. This is enough to launch the 5,400 pounds of aluminum, steel, leather and burled wood to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds, keeping pace with a Porsche 718 Cayman. If that is not enticing enough, the dream-like insulation from exterior noise, odors, and worries-of-the-world will certainly make you calculate the monthly payment of a $350,000 car loan.
Moving at the right speed and in the right direction, the sales of Rolls-Royce cars have increased steadily through the years and found a clientele that takes a more active approach to driving. So, how do you improve on something that is nearly perfect in every aspect of its promises?

The RENNtech ECU adds 95 HP and 90 LB-FT of torque which improves performance and throttle response without sacrificing any of the supple ride quality or adding any unwanted “noises”. The Lowering Module allows the driver to adjust the ride height with millimeter precision and works in harmony with the factory speed-dependent ride adjustments.
Speed and power delivery in the RENNtech Rolls-Royce is so strong it pushes you deep into the seat along with the wonderful hymn of 12 cylinders playing in the background. The sensation is like taking off in a jet where the thrust just keeps on pushing, but without the high-pitch turbine whirl. Steering is precise and responsive which makes maneuvering the 207 in. Wraith an effortless experience that can be summed up as uniquely Rolls-Royce. With 712 HP the RENNtech Wraith and Dawn are above and beyond all standards of power, combine that with the powerful stance created by RENNtech’s Lowering Module and you are looking at a true driver’s car. No chauffeur needed.
