Route 32’s Thanksgiving 2018 Auction

Route 32 Auctions will be having their Thanksgiving auction on November 24, 2018. The auction will be held at their auction house located at 3097 East State Road 32, Crawfordsville, IN. This auction will feature a wide variety of signs and memorabilia with some of the featured items being listed below.

An early Buckeye Stages System Bus Depot porcelain sign is considered to be one of the premier pieces of the auction. It depicts an early bus image on both sides of the keyhole style sign. This rare sign is expected to be the highest grossing sign of the auction and is lot number 150.

The early Goodyear horizontal tin sign is another sign that stands out in the auction. Many of these early tin signs did not survive the test of time and that is what makes this one so special. It is in great original condition considering its age and shows the iconic Goodyear “winged foot” graphic in the field. This outstanding piece is sure to be a crowd favorite and is lot 146 of the auction.

A few pieces from the very collectable Signal Gasoline Company are sure to draw some attention in the auction. Lot 130 is a 72” single sided Signal sign with the trademark traffic signal logo in the center. Lot 124 is a Signal Ethyl Gasoline porcelain gas pump plate in great condition. Lastly, lot 157 a Signal gas pump globe on a metal body is sure to draw attention from the globe collectors and is considered to be one of the best globes in the auction.

This will be a cataloged auction of approximately 500 lots.
