If you think the Tesla Cybertruck is not to your liking, there are apparently 200,000 out there that do. According to a recent Elon Musk tweet, found below, it appears as though the Cybertruck has 200k preorder so far.
“Well, it’s only $100 to preorder the truck.” I hear you, but 200,000 preorders times $100 deposits equal $20,000,000 in Tesla’s pocket. That’s insane.
When the preorder number was at 146,000, Elon Musk tweeted that 42% chose the dual-motor setup, 41% went with the tri-motor and 17% for the single motor.
The saga of the Tesla Cybertruck has only just begun, but it’s already as interesting as ever.
