There’s a new way to travel around the world.
The new Gulfstream G800 private jet has just been unveiled as the company’s aircraft with the longest range and is also their fastest, ever. This new aircraft offers up an astounding range of 8,000 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 and 7,000 nautical miles at Mach 0.90. Powering the G800 are Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines that take advantage of the G800’s special wing and winglet design that enhances the aircraft’s fuel efficiency.
“We designed the ultralong-range G800 to extend our customers’ reach to more people and places around the world,” said Mark Burns, President of Gulfstream. “The G800 redefines what it means to go farther faster in a Gulfstream and offers even more time savings with its impressive range at high speed.”
As far as accommodations go, Gulfstream does not disappoint but that’s expected. The G800 can seat up to 19 passengers, as well as up to four living areas, or if you have a crew, three living areas and accommodations for a crew. The G800’s interior is appointed in fine materials that offer comfortable spaces to relax in, whether it be a couch or seat. Passengers aboard the G800 will also breathe easy thanks to Gulfstream’s recirculated and refiltered air that’s 100 percent fresh and has 99.9 percent of airborne bacteria, spores, and odors removed.
Deliveries of the Gulfstream G800 are expected to begin around 2023.
