Since 1997, NetJets and its Owners have supported Corporate Angel Network (CAN) by donating hundreds of flight hours to patients with cancer traveling to and from treatment. To further the company’s shared mission of providing patients with access to treatment, NetJets is extending its program to include the NetJets Corporate Angel CardTM.
Helping Patients Access Treatment
With the purchase of a 25-hour NetJets Corporate Angel Card™, NetJets will contribute one flight hour to patients with cancer traveling to and from treatment. NetJets Owners will fly the bestselling Citation XLS for all flights under 3.5 hours.
Reliable Access to Care
Corporate Angel Network is a 501(c)(3) organization that helps patients with cancer access the best treatment by arranging free travel on corporate aircraft. Business jet travel makes it possible for patients, especially those located in areas with minimal airline access, to travel to specialized medical centers. Participation is open to all patients with cancer, as well as bone marrow and stem cell donors and recipients. Patients may travel as often as necessary, and there is no financial requirement.
Why Private Travel Is Crucial
Private jet travel makes it possible for patients to arrive closer to medical centers and return to a fixed-base operator (FBO) that’s closer to home. Private travel also alleviates the physical stress and exposure of going through commercial airports. By giving Corporate Angel Network access to more flying opportunities, patients are able to receive increased access to the best treatment programs—ultimately, increasing their chances to defeat the disease.
